On Episode 3 of Downton Abbey and I have a question.

I don't understand why Mary said the Turk didn't force himself on her. I suppose some could argue she was complicit at the end but I wouldn't consider it consensual. Even if it was he's dead whats there to lose in saying that he was forceful? What do y'all think?
Also, I hope the youngest daughter takes a more prominent role. She's my favorite so far. I'm downloading season two right now.

Watched season one last night and am downloading season two right now. She alluded to the fact that him even being in her room would ruin her. Degree really didn't matter back then. You were either sullied or you weren't.

She does look like Lyle Lovitt. Yes it's O'Brien. The stupid women the Dowager Countess and Countess Crawley both think she's wonderful. At least in season one.
