They have been mentioning Jesus a lot in the past two episodes.

That's what everyone keeps saying, but when the writing is as bad as it is -- this season is going to meander until some finale that's becoming more predictable each episode.

Is watching a bunch of zombies eat people all you care about?

Next episode is going to be awesome.

I'm waiting to get hooked on this show, but just can't. The women are whiny bitches, not enough "survival practices," need more flashbacks.

Daryll is awesome, as stated repeatedly. The old man holds his own, and Glen needs more air time. They need to kill of the rest and make the show darker.

It's not as bleak. The comic was more like The Road. This show could be on The Disney Channel in comparison.

Edit:

I haven't read the comic, only the synopsis.

Oh, he's a veterinarian. How original.

He's a vet in the comic. Post less.

There's a difference between drama and melodrama.

It would be different if the show had more redeeming qualities. Without the zombies, there would be no interest in this show at all.

Doesn't make it any more original. The very beginning stole from 28 Days Later.

It didn't start out that way either. Lots of good character interaction.

They need to add bad people. I said before, when the SHTF, there will be all kinds of shitheads coming out of the woodwork.

The beginning was a damn near shot for shot recreation of the comic. You planning on continuing making comparisons to something you don't know shite about? Maybe the rant is more your style.

A show has to stand on its own, and it's so bad that it would fail no matter the premise.

I think something along the lines of the fast and furious would be more the speed for some of you. Pure action and testosterone. As little talking and character development as possible.

I'm surprise you also aren't bitching that there are no scantily clad women frolicking about.

Great shows would still be great shows without their premise. The cast and characters of Mad Men and Justified would make a great show with any plot. This show doesn't have that.

I really am curious how a zombie apocalypse show would stand on it's own without zombies?

We are seeing depth in a few characters but no real development. This show could be very good without more action; the first 1/3 or so of Season 1 was.

Good point. I'm hanging my hopes on the farmer's daughter.
