I know last season Siavash and Noirin would get rip roaring drunk on a nightly basis. shite, Angel got her arse nominated because everyone was convinced she stole the last beer, when in fact Siavash drank it.
The UK version is different in that they have the option of purchasing some alcohol with the shopping budget and they can beg for it like little kids.
So, if they are being lame and not drinking, it's because they are choosing not to buy it (the small amount they can) and they aren't begging hard enough.

First time I've watched the UK.
They have only won the big budget one time so they haven't had much or any to spend on booze and Big Brother has only given them small amounts.
They might not be showing any of the drunk action,but I also think it is a budget thing too.
Some of the tasks have just been too damn hard for them to get the booze.
One thing, they do get PUNISHED a lot on the UK version. The first time they won the big budget, the lost it because someone made a nomination comment. They have been without hot water almost the whole time because it has been cut off 3 times for nomination discussions.
Someone finally got pissed enough to leave so they are expecting them to add some new people into the house, which is different from the US version.

I'm not saying I'm a UK veteran, as this is only my third season, but I was sure as hell tripped out when they got down to 8 people and then added 8 new ones last season.

Go into the forums, then look down the page for divx tv shows, then reality, then big brother uk.
Kontraband has posted almost daily, the problem is the mrbrownee links from early in the season were erased in a server malfunction.
There is a guy named Fl00der, use his links until he gave up. Then you need to jump to Blinx which has megavideo links so you get that damn limiter. Once you finish day 15, you can jump back to quicksilver and from day 16 on, all of the Kontraband links work.

Well, I don't think it's the gay guy because BB would want him to be there the whole time for the entertainment factor. I think the sabatour would need to be somebody who won't take away too much from the entertainment value of the show once they are gone.
