What are your thoughts on these? I watched all of Frontier and I'm on episode 3 of Medici. The production value of these are high but the dialogue is just plain simple.
Are all Netflix shows dumbed-down like this?

Also, the plot-line of frontier is like a 10 year old wrote it.

I don't know. I wanted to like Medici, but I just gave up on it finally.

The red head Irish tavern woman is my kind of hot!

She was worth the 6 episode watch alone!

I enjoyed Frontier but it in now must see. It is only 6 episodes so it is not like your in for the long hall.

It is visually cool and it does a good job of portraying the feel of the harshness of the time period.

I have only seen Jason Momoa in GOT and Frontier. Frontier made me feel like he's a terrible actor, so wooden. There were several scenes where I couldn't help but think how they would have been a lot better with someone who knows how to deliver a line.
Overall the show wasn't great. I will probably give the second season a try if they make it though.

I saw all of Medici and 4 of the 6 Frontier episodes so far, Medici was good but not great, and Frontier's kind of meh, and low budget.

I only stuck out Frontier bc it was just six episodes. It was ok but I didn't care about the characters and the story was hard to get in to. The setting and time period was interesting.

Medici I liked better than Frontier, but didn't love. The lead character is a lame dickhead although his wife is perfect marriage material. The story was ok. I would've liked it better if I hadn't already seen Borgia recently which is set around the same time and place.

Frontier sucked. I wanted to give it a chance. The premise seems like it could have been good, but it just wasn't well done. I don't think even the production value seemed all that good. I think I watched 4 or 5 episodes, and it wasn't worth it to finish.

Medici is solid. It has it's moments of bad writing where things seem to happen in sort of contrived ways. The writing isn't particularly tight. After the first season it seems interesting enough to overcome little issues. I could see it maybe falling apart later, but I will give the second season a chance when it comes out.

Yeah there're so many shows out to watch now that I won't spend any time on more Frontier. Probably would watch more Medici.

I do like the short Netflix seasons. It's daunting to start a show that has a bunch of episodes.
