He plays a good guy in the first captain America movie as well. Definitely mostly plays the bad guy, and does it well though.

Everything except Band of Brothers, pretty much. He’s also the villain in some early movie starring The Rock. Walking Tall, I think it was called.

It's funny because the guy is one of the nicest dudes you'd ever find on the street. However, it's really the only way he can get work. The man is an insanely devout Catholic and refuses to kiss any woman other than his wife. So he never takes roles that require him to kiss another human. That means he's usually going to be playing the villain.

He's Dum Dum Dugan. The de facto leader of the Howling Commandos when Nick Fury (comics) and Captain America (films) are not around. And possibly Peggy Carter's "cover" husband in the first Captain America film timeline.

Yeah, apparently they wanted to cast him in a nice part in Desperate Housewives, back when that was a hot show, and he turned it down because of his faith.

I was watching Captain America a couple weekends ago. Man, a Howling Commandoes movie would be fun. Just them going through Europe, killing Nazis and Hydra agents. Kind of like a PG-13 Inglorious Basterds
