It sucks for Louisiana to not get the Rangers or the Astros. I enjoy some of the other team's games, but I covered Ranger games in the late 80's, and had season tickets after they opened The Ballpark in Arlington. I moved to Dallas in 1983. For all of those years when Houston was in the NL, they were my favorite NL team.
Once everyone else's contracts with Bally run out, I hope they allow Ranger fans in Texas and Louisiana, to watch the games on MLB TV like Padres fans in San Diego do now.
Last year I got NBA League pass so I could watch all of the Mavs games. I guess I'll have to get it next year for the Pelicans too. I hate Fox for selling those channels to Bally. It immediately turned to crap.
