If the house was bought simply to sniper the vp...then what would brody's role have been?
There's no way they brainwashed brody and made him think he killed his friend and sent them both back just to snipe the vp.

Brody was a sleeper. Walker was plan A. If he made this happen, Brody could just continue to lay low for however long Nazir wanted him to. This guy is very patient and waits years sometimes for an attack, he didn't invest in Brody just to come back home and immediately do dirt, although he ended up needing him sooner than he wanted because of the couples eff up.

His ultimate goal was to kill the VP, but he's supposed to be like Bin Laden. He just wants to attack us, so he has all kinds of sleepers living in America(maybe even a CIA agent). Brody was the best one because of his hero status. Notice Brody never got contacted by Nazirs men until after the couple got caught up and Walker was exposed. Brody ended up (almost) having to be the clean up man when all else failed. Walker was just a pawn and Brody was a Queen. If Nazir could have taken out the VP with his pond, he would have.

I still think David HAS to be the mole. Otherwise, it is possibly the weakest contrived bullshite ever written that he would have let Brody anywhere near that prisoner. The writing clearly isn't that terrible, so he simply has to be the mole.
And the fact that Saul is actually Inigo Montoya blows my fuggin mind
And here's to whoever convinced Inara from Firefly to get naked
