Julie Benz in Boondock Saints 2 has the worst accent in recordable history. Followed closely by Cameron Diaz in the box. Both actresses were lucky because not many people watched those movies.
Accents are extremely difficult. It takes a ton of training and time. Some movies allow the actors time and training while others don't have the budget or the time. It shows.
Hell, look at Game of Thrones. It's amazing to see the real accent of all of the actors vs how they sound on the show. Those people took some time and training. Very well done.

British are much better at doing American accent than the other way around.

Filmed in GA, but characters are in MO. So, not helpful that she sounds like GA. Terrible accent either way.
