Yea. Maybe the love triangle is a gypsy, bi-curious male, and a commumist. Make them all Jewish and the Oscars couldnt say no.

its funny you joke about a love story in the holocaust and trying to add humor and sap to it.
im sure youve seen "life is beautiful" which did win a lot of awards and was about that exact same thing.
