I'm back, Netflix reinstated, finally saw Antichrist among others

Good to be back Loved Antichrist. The beginning was very beautifully made and it was not as sickening and depraved as others made it out to be, with the exception of the two scenes involving a wooden stump and scissors which made me cringe (and I'm not squeamish at all). And I also couldn't help but have the feeling that Trier was channeling Andrei Tarkovsky (most notably Stalker) and when Trier dedicated the movie to him it put a smile on my face.
Others things I've been wanting to say while away:
Treme is a fantastic show and if you are still "waiting for something to happen" then this show is obviously not for you. Plenty of stories are brooding underneath the surface and I hate to break it to you but this is not The Wire Season 6. It does help to appreciate the power of music to truly like this show. The scene in episode 5 where Batiste plays for the Japanese guy put a big smile on my face Though, I do agree they need to cut down on the musical scenes JUST a tad and focus more on story and if E5 is any indication, they have done just that.
Also, not sure why some of you begged for DMIOM to be unbanned, he was terrible.

So you believe people should be censored. I find it very hard to stomach that you love movies and art yet you believe someone should be censored.
You like fairly obscure cinema. If only movies that everyone would like were allowed to be made, I bet most of the movies you love would never have been made.
I love the use of exaggeration on this board. Nobody begged to bring him back. Some asked, some felt censorship was bad (me) some felt a ban was harsh for just have too many vs. threads. And of course many wanted him killed and his body parts stuck on pikes at amc theaters along the borders of the continental usa.
I stated in every post that his nonsense was annoying but I don't believe posts or people should be censored based on quality.
All they needed to do was anchor his shitty posts.
It should also be noted that most of his posts went several pages.
Enough talking about him, he will probably get another since I spoke of what must not be spoken of.

I am playing with you to some degree but my main point is still the same.

Heck, I am a hypocrite to on censorship. I see crap on the OT and Poli board all the time that I would censor. But those posts are cruel shite like the 20 page post of people laughing about a headless girl in a car accident.
I don't believe in censoring someone that was boring. I almost never posted in his threads.
In fact that damn picture on Nicholson at a weird angle made me want to punch his arse most of the time on general principles, but I wouldn't have given him a ban.
And you know good and well what my point is bringing up your love of mostly unknown cinema. If the taste of the masses was in charge of all art then most really good art would never have been created. I just extrapolated that to his threads. One mans refuse is another mans gold mine.
Sorry if I came down too hard on you, but I just don't like people being banned for shitty posts. I could be next.
