Yeah I would say it's already an M/TV favorite.
Some say it's Chris Pine's only good performance.
Among recent crime films, people here also rave about Wind River.
Also, I thought Den of Thieves was a lot better than I expected.

I thought Ben Foster played a great roll as the crazy brother. He was also good in Lone Survivor.
I've never heard of Wind River...I will definitely check it out. Thanks !

It and Hell or High Water were both written by M/TV board mancrush Taylor Sheridan. He also wrote Sicario and does the show Yellowstone.

I watched it after this board went nuts about how good it was.
Maybe my expectations were too high going in. I thought it was an ok movie. Not nearly as good as this place led me to believe.
Did not hate it at all but overall it was nothing incredible.

Sheridan gets melodramatic. That’s true of everything he’s done, with the exception of Sicaro.
