My mom and my wife wanted to watch this movie last night because some of their friends told them it was good. I’m not really into Christian movies but that hit me in the feels.

Wife and I saw it in theaters. I was fine up until the dad and Jesus start wrapping up and dressing his daughter’s body up for burial. And I don’t even have kids.

Wife wanted to watch it. I gave in. It was about a month after my dad passed away AND we had just had our firstborn. Needless to say i was an emotional wreck and THEN we watched this movie. I have never cried so much during a movie, or maybe in my life. I don't know if the movie was that good OR my emotions were that jacked up.

I read the book. After that review, no way I’m watching this. I’d probably go into some sort of coma from a breakdown.
