All of this. This movie perfectly captures what being a HS kid as an older millennial was like.
This. But I also love how it’s basically a weird 70s movie stylistically as well
I still jam out to “these eyes” from time to time
“You’re frickin Jimmy’s brother!! The singer!!!”

You know when you hear girls say 'Ah man, I was so shite-faced last night, I shouldn't have fricked that guy?' We could be that mistake!

The dick drawing scene is probably the second hardest I've ever laughed in a theater.
I agree with just about everyone about the way the script so accurately depicts the vibe of being a teenager in the mid-00s. I graduated in 06 and remember thinking 75% of the movie was something my friends and I might have said or done in the same situation.
"My first wife -who was a whore- where do you think I met her?"
Bill Hader's perfect Emperor Palpatine impression
I remember my wife died laughing when Becca goes "Your cock is so smooth"
Every time I see Joe La Truglio back the car into Seth, it gets funnier.
Evan's Home Ec partner pretending to be a cat
"I'm sorry we blocked your cock."
Bill Hader doing donuts to "Panama" is one of my favorite uses of music in any movie.

this is the most recent quote thread so im gonna bump this. just rewatched it and, to this day, this is one of the most unexpected quotes i have ever experienced in a movie
quote:
"I kinda had this problem, something like 8% of kids do it, but whatever. For some reason, I don't know why, I would just kind of sit around all day... and draw pictures of dicks."

quote:as a movie it still holds up terrifically well. it wasnt a movie about being in high school during the mid/late 2000s that so many high school movies frick up. its a movie about high school kids that just happened to take place in the mid/late 2000s. the situations and themes are universal and the fact that it was jonah hills coming out party, emma stones introduction, and one of bill haders best performances is still a testament to the absolutely remarkable bit of casting by seth rogan
-So many good quotes in that movie.
