Has anyone ever seen The Corn Dog Man?

Here's the trailer.

It's a really unique and entertaining independent movie made back in 99. There's a couple things that really stand out in it that may not be all that noticable initially but upon reflection, sorta grabs you a little.
Anyway, if you're looking for something different, darkly comic and fairly compelling, here it is.

I had a friend that used to say that this was one of the funniest movies he'd ever seen. But whenever I'd read a synopsis, it sounded like it's just a film version of Roy D Mercer or something.

It's a great movie and really unique but the true unusual nature of it doesn't come to you until after you've seen it.
There's a fair number of people in the movie but there's something unusual about them all. I don't want to give anything away but if someone watches it, we can chew on it afterwards.
