Not sure on either of those. Can't find any numbers on them but I doubt they were dirt cheap.

I doubt a Cusack comedy was dirt cheap or a Rob Reiner film. Probably didn't cost an arm and a leg but I am sure they were well over a million to make.

Yeah, I had some of those same thoughts, but figured since this was one of Cusack's first films it would not have been terribly expensive.

Tap was not Reiner's first go at directing, so you're probably right that it cost a pretty penny.

Both great pictures, though
