its astounding no one has taken a crack at a Grant biopic. so many ups and downs, its seems a no brainer.

If someone were to make a biopic about Grant it would have to be a miniseries similar to what HBO did with John Adams. It's too big and too complex a story to make into a 2 1/2-hour biopic and do it any sort of justice.

People seemed to have shied away.
You can read the books out there on him and nobody still knows who he was.
It's like he was an Ancient General.
He was only the General that won the Civil War and then was President. You'd think there would be numerous biopics/movies about him. But there's more on Lee, hell even Sherman.
