You can't get emotionally invested on anyone that has subtle weaknesses that the show tries to tells you could be a fatal flaw (pun intended) - expect them to die.
Robb - too naive
Ned - too dumb
Oberyn - too fixated on his revenge
This.

Ah frick me.
On a lighter note, it looks like episode nine is only gonna take place at the wall.
Battle of Blackwater episode 2.0

I assume that Stannis and his newly bought army will be playing the role of Tywin Lannister and his army.
I was thinking the same thing, actually.

I just don't see tyrrion getting killed off yet. He'll sneak out of there. I'm keeping the faith.

My only hope is that it's too predictable to just kill him off, I mean they've been saying he's gonna die for 6 episodes now.

i sure hope they dont wait till next season to find out if tyrion lives or dies
im running out of guys to pull for if he dies

Well, The Red Viper was definitely a bad arse fighter and could have easily won that fight. Hell I think he could have beaten a two-handed Jamie Lannister or anyone else in Westeros. Even Cersi acknowledged him as a legendary fighter.

I wonder when we'll see arya's bravosi face shifter assassin again. So far he's the baddest dude on the planet.

fricking Game of Thrones.
fricking George R. R. Martin.
I should've known better. Never should've gotten my hopes up. My heart sank so damn hard, almost threw up. I guess I gotta give it to the man though, getting me emotionally invested and all worked up. Hope: humanity's greatest strength and its greatest weakness.
Martin knows how to slowly give you hope then shatter it in an instant.
I can picture him walking down the street as he passes a baby in a stroller. Suddenly the baby drops his favorite toy and begins to cry. George R. R. Martin graciously picks up the toy (no easy feat) and walks to the crying baby. He shows the child the toy. The child stops crying, wipes his eyes, and begins to smile as he reaches out for the toy. George holds the toy out to him, then punches the baby 6 feet across the sidewalk, walks back up to the baby and pisses on it.
Still a great show, I just fear the worst now.
