Just finished watching the series up through S5, and I have a question about Michael (child observer)
How did he end up at the construction site, where he was discovered in S1? Donald/September left him with that family until Olivia & Co. got him, then he got taken to the future to erase the Observers.
So how?

Up through season 5 as in all the way? If so... They kinda explained it.
ETA:
If you haven't finished the entire series - Don't read below because you find out towards the end of Season 5. If you've watched it all and can't remember/figure it out - Proceed.
SPOILERS BELOW:
He was one of September's progeny. September found out he was going to be destroyed because he had a mutation. He hid the child from "oversight" so that he would live.

Somewhat spoilers as well...
September actually went back in time to hide him...from what I recall. But, the whole building being blown up could have messed up that whole plan. I still can't believe this show is over
