Ironically back in the old days Disney would produce short films and newsreels that explored foreign countries. It was the only way for most Americans to see the outside world.
The crazy ones are the African countries during colonialism. I saw one on Somalia where people were walking down the promenade in Mogadishu. Beautiful parks and palm tree lined streets. Everything was orderly. The narrator was like "Hey there's Djimundo heading off to class at the University of Somalia".
Disney of course locked those in the vault when people started pointing out that Africa looked much better under colonial times than it does today. It will be amusing to see how they project future Nigeria given that place's trajectory.
