Fantastic Four SPOILER THREAD

Opened last night and people already dropping a few spoilers in the other thread so figured I'd make this for everyone who wants to really discuss it

I didn't see much spoiler activity in the review threads. Is the board passing on seeing this movie for now?
The first half of the movie exceeded my low expectations by a mile. The origin, getting to know the characters, the space flight/jump to seek out Galactus... Then Ben got a beard and almost everything went downhill. What the frick was that all about? Did they need to cover some shitty CGI halfway through so they pasted a beard on him? Totally took me out of the movie.
The Surfer effects were amazing. The idea to have her actually surf Johnny's flames and star-matter was brilliant. The rest of her story was pretty by the book.
The cast was fine. Nothing exceptional. Paul Walter Hauser was as great as usual. The choice to cut Malkovich out as the Red Ghost still pisses me off.
The final end-credit surprise was boring and a waste of my time. Though I did like the final message from Jack Kirby that preceded it.
Speaking of Kirby, they replaced Alicia Masters with the character Rachel Rozman, which would be a tribute to Roz Kirby, Jack Kirby's wife, Kirby family manager, and sometimes inker.

Marvel is losing moviegoers with their shitty woke agenda but even moreso when the woke movie includes a terrible cast like F4
