Watched it last night for the first time. Great movie and completely different perspective that any other WW2 movie I had scene.

Bale put on quite a performance. Also, couldn't believe that Ben Stiller was in this and almost dropped my beer when I saw him.

After watching this movie, that quote stuck with me.

Saw it for the first time in highschool. Someone it tied into a book we read in English class or something. Great movie

I have always said that this movie seemed like a story that you would discuss in an English class.

I watched "A I" a few weeks after watching "Empire of the Sun". I think Spielberg had some kind of seperation anxiety toward his mother.

I always paired this movie with Hope and Glory. Another excellent WWII movie.

Wow. Almost two pages and no one slammed it yet. How could anyone put down on such a great film. I saw it as a teen when on HBO for first time and remember thinking that frigging kid is great!

Most heartbreaking scene for me (Spoiler, if it matters)

The Jap kid Finally climbs into the cockpit of that Mitsubishi Zero, his first and last chance to fly for his country....it won't start. Of all the sadness in the story, seeing his dream crushed killed me.

This was one of my favorite scene also. There are so many scenes that I loved, that it is impossible for me to pick just one.

Another one of my favorites was this one:

This scene and yours almost make me cry. It's the soundtrack that does it. I loved it so much that I bought it along with the movie.
