Why is Deb such a bitch to the babysitter? Did I miss something with that?

I think the babysitter is going to slowly realize something is weird about Dexter, and it will play a major role in the next season. Too much going on with Dexter/ Bro Sam and the doomsday killer to add in another major plot line.

can anyone really explain this apartment shite to me? so dexter has his apartment and also renting the one next door right? where does harrison sleep? in dexters? and now deb is staying in the extra? what was the "reasoning" he gave for renting the extra one?

Dexter bought the one next door to give him space for Harrison (and for when Aster and Cody visit or Deb crashes) while keeping his cool serial killer pad intact. That window unit is very special to him.
