finally finished this up last night, and yeah, kinda had the same feeling.
good season overall though. DD wasn't a comic I read growing up, so I didn't have much of a frame of reference for any of the source material/ characters outside Fisk. so not much expectation, or stuff like recognizing what/ who certain characters might turn into down the line, or what they might mean in the greater MCU.
oh yeah, wish they hadn't killed Ben. liked that guy.

Like the last few posts in here, I finally got around to finishing this up last week.
I didn't get the hoaky feeling like some did. The scene when they freed Fisk was quite intense after seeing the feds so thoroughly dismantle what he had built. I thought Matt getting the suit was stepping up his game just like Fisk did at the end.
I'm hoping Jessica Jones equals how intense Daredevil was. I think it's almost impossible for it not to. I'm pumped for Luke Cage to be in the next series to get the ball rolling even more, but I am disappointed we get Daredevil S2 before we get to see Iron Fist.
