No... but I don't think she played as central a role. So far the only person that has had any real influence on "Dexter gonna Dexter" is Deb. I could see her getting whacked in the final season, but not this one. How's that for a compromise.
pretty good, but I still think Deb could be out after this season.
Didn't Dexter (Michael C. Hall) and Deb (Jennifer Carpenter) get married and divorced IRL.
Could she be looking for an out to the show?
Just throwing that out there.

yah like 2 seasons ago

Divorce was finalized less than a year ago but I agree, I don't think their off camera romance will play a part in the proceedings of the show.

That wouldn't surprise me

LaGuerta would have to do something heinous to merit a killing from Dexter.
shite, Dexter couldn't even bring himself to kill Doakes who fricking hated him.
That was honestly a more disciplined Dexter, who followed the code perfectly and was exceptionally careful with his kills. It seems that recently Dexter ha been playing fast an loose with the code and is doing some pretty risky shite (getting involved in a cat & mouse game with Speltzer and the Russian dude to state a few).
If he's itching for a kill or if LaGuerta is about to expose him, I wouldn't be surprised if he kills her.
Crazy thought: What if Deb kills her?!?!? (Doubtful but possible)

There's no way Deb gets killed off. Their dynamic is central to the show.
Did you see Rita's death coming?
I didn't see Rita's death coming but Rita haters sure did and the clamor of fans might have become a self-fulfilling prophesy by the writers.

Very possible but honestly I don't see her having many better options. I think she's a pretty good actress but she's not very attractive. For instance I can't see her as the lead hot actress in a new cop show, etc.

Dexter ha been playing fast an loose with the code
I don't see this at all, if anything he has become strict to the code since bringing Deb into the fold.

Don't think so Tim.

More likely than Dexter killing her.

Hey I said it was a crazy theory
Posted on 10/31/12 at 2:01 pm to Tiger1242
I honestly think LaGuerta is more interested in clearing Doakes' name than arresting the Bay Harbor Butcher.
As long a Dexter and Deb come up with another patsy, I think LaGuerta will back off.

Deb and Dexter have to do it.
Its the only way to keep this show going in the really dark direction that it needs to stay interesting.
