I regret I had never heard of this movie until yesterday, bc it truly blew me away. At the moment, I can't recall another film that moves through genres multiple times like this one does. It goes from home invasion to whodunnit to buddy cop flick to neo-noir to 80's style sleaze to revenge bloodbath & does it all seamlessly.
Super cool synth score & memorable performances from all three leads: Michael C. Hall, Sam Shepard, & Don Johnson.
This movie manages to remind you of a dozen movies you've seen before, but stays unique at the same time. I absolutely loved it.
