Buffy finding her mom dead was one of the traumatic TV experiences

I don’t think Buffy the vampire slayer is aging particularly well but the episode where college age Buffy comes home to find her mom dead is a testament to how good the show was.
For a 90s WB/CW/UPN/whatever network it was on, this particular moment holds up IMO

I lost myom when I was 15 to MS. That One Tree Hill episode where Peyton was talking about her mom's death had me balling.
