Watching season 3 now.
It's such an under appreciated show, IMHO

Someone at work was just talking about this. Can you tell me the gist of the premise?

It's a world mixed with animals and humans, but everyone acts like a human. It is set in Hollywood. Bojack is a horse who had a hit TV show like 20 years ago and now just gets drunk and bangs chicks.
Then it's just about him going through his life and contemplating it and wanting to do better. The ups and downs. And he has a roommate who is an idiot, but he has a good heart. And he has feelings for a chick who is married to his arch nemesis/friend.
There is a lot of moving parts with the show, but I enjoy it thoroughly. It's very light hearted, but sometimes Bojack has some deep moments. Just started Season 3 so I can't speak on this season, yet

The writing this season was amazing imo, they developed the characters much better than previous season. Todd wasn't as unbearable as the past...
As always, Margo Martindale was $$$.

It's my favorite original Netflix how for sure. It's perfectly voice cast and it's written very well.
It's my perfect style of show. Dark, brooding, unforgiving comedy animated very well.
