According to Twitter, Mark won a "Save a Friend" temptation and used it on Paul. Not that Paul was in any danger with Christmas as HOH, but Paul is safe for the week.

Eh . . . if he couldn't use it on himself then it doesn't make a difference. He knows Xmas wasn't putting Paul up under any circumstance and no one else in that house is going to help him even if he used it on them.

You know what, he probably will. The public will have no idea what the vote numbers actually are. CBS can say that feedster views aren't representative of actual voters. Wouldn't surprise me at all.

Wouldn't shock me either, but that's an indictment on production, not on Paul. He knows how to work the diary room and knows there's only so much footage they can use for a weeks worth of shows while still having to make room for HoH, vetoes, evictions, and twists.

I rage quit halfway thru it. Was already drunk as shite and told my girlfriend frick these people I can't take it anymore that I was going pass out.

I wouldn't piss on a single one of them if they were fire and begging me for help.

if it happened that's smart to get the guy running the house too owe you one. Paul didn't need it but he can use this now to target Matt and break up a couple

You know that's not going to happen. The house hobbit has his target in mark, and will use the grinch as his proxy to get rid of him. He will no way feel that he owes Mark anything, and worst of all, if actually use it against Mark in getting him out.

Smart move on Mark showing that nothing anyone does for PP really matters. Mark makes a gesture of kindness to him and still gets evicted. Keep drinking that kool-aid minions.

Mark knows he can't win at this point. He won't throw in the towel, but he won't be sad to leave this week, imo. A week in the jury house with Elena and Cody wouldn't be bad for him

The good news is that Cody gets a good 2-3 weeks to completely brainwash Mark and Elena into voting against Paul. They will agree with him, tbh.

That's 3 votes there against

I would assume Alex/Jason vote for each other. Same with Raven/Matt.

Paul's only hope is sitting next to Josh, and I think he knows that.

Nope, Cody has already said that he would most likely vote for Paul to win if it wasn't Elena or Mark against him. While he doesn't like Paul he understands he is really the only one in that group playing the game. I don't disagree with him either. Don't reward those other HGs for making zero big moves.

If Paul makes it to finale he does deserve to win. He ran the house

Barring something unforeseen, I agree. You can make all the arguments about him getting help from production at times which I agree is true, but no one has even forced this to be difficult on him. Paul said as much on yesterday's episode. He couldn't believe no one was even targeting him still. It is a combination of many things that have got him this far but a big one is the lack of competition from the people remaining in the house. It would be ignorant to reward any of those HGs at the end.

What's interesting is if Paul blindsides Kevin then Matt and Raven like he wants to. And then Paul is sitting next to Alex in the final, there is a very good chance Paul loses 7-2
