Betty White has set a Guinness World Record, winning the title of ‘Longest TV Career for an Entertainer (Female).’
According to Deadline, the category was previously non-gender specific, but has been changed in recognition of White’s 74 years in the business.
A TV favourite, the comedienne is best known for her roles on The Mary Tyler Moore Show and The Golden Girls, while she can currently be seen on Hot in Cleveland.

How is this a record? She was constantly working this entire time? Never any hiatuses? If a gerber baby goes on to be in a TV show when they're 80 does that mean they've had an 80 year career in TV?

Betty White is a great actress who has had a very successful career, she deserves that recognition!
