Wasnt the Mel Gibson flick with Elijah Wood called Forever Young? I liked this movie. I would also have to put Terms of Endearment near the top. That was a real gut wrencher.

Honerable mention to Ole Yeller.

Shirley MacLaine was terrific in Terms of Endearment. One of the best performances ever. She was also pretty good in another tear jerker: Steel Magnolias.

Between this post and the Invention of Lying post, I have agreed with you twice in one day. A definite sign on the impending apocalypse.

MacLaine's reaction when Winger passes away is some of the best acting ever.
