love Jason Segal. i figured by the trailer him and even possibly JT would carry the movie.

It was ok IMO. They had some really funny parts, but not worth the $20 and having to sit in a theater full of obnoxious teens. My wife is a teacher so she wanted me to take her.
Not terrible, but not great. Would've been a solid Netflix movie.
I think they could've done a better job casting the lead role.

That was my takeaway as well. Segel was the only redeemable aspect.
There were even lines Cameron Diaz said that I'd think in my head, "That's a funny line." Yet, it wasn't executed right or something, so I didn't laugh.

A lot of parts I think they tried to go with "crude humor" and failed. Especially the part talking about the NBA players and the condoms. Seemed a little over the top to me.

I agree Diaz was just miscast.
I would've liked some lesser known hot, comedic actress. Like the rich chick from Bridesmaids or something.

I liked it more than I thought I would given the mediocre reviews. I thought the lady that played Mrs. Squirrel was hilarious. The ending was lame and some of the movie didn't make sense, I'm wondering if some scenes got cut, but overall I liked it a lot.

i went to see "Chuck & Larry" for this very same reason. just for that one scene of Jessica Biel after they came back in from the rain. i could've left the theater after that.
