Anyone see the movie Widows
Watched it last night. It was entertaining, but i gave it a B as it did have some plot hole and some annoying characters.

Great cast, although i couldn't buy Violet Davis' character. She was miscast IMO

I didn't know it was a Steve McQueen movie until the credit, but it all made sense. It had tons of racial overtones and lots of white guilt/privilege jabs.

Good rental

Saw it in the theater. I’d forgotten I’d seen it. I remember the twist, that’s it.

It did, but it sounds like you haven't seen many Steve McQueen movies. Hunger is about a white guy in prison. Shame is about a white guy's giant member.

I thought the Widows cast was strong throughout. It wasn't subtle with some of its themes, but it was really entertaining. Not sure why it was so overlooked last year.

I rented it a few weeks ago and really enjoyed it. I'm a sucker for a fun heist movie and this had a great cast.
