Courtesy of my mother, I probably heard the Streisand/Kristofferson soundtrack about eleventy million times.
Lady Gaga can sing anything Babs can, and sing it just as well.
In the world of pop music, only Adele, Jennifer Hudson, and probably Pink can stand on the same stage as Lady Gaga as far as vocal ability is concerned.

Not a big JH fan, but Gaga and Pink have 2 of the best natural singing voices. Plus I think Pink is fine as hell. And Gaga has a very underrated body. And really not a bad face.

I was in another room while the game was on and I hear someone start singing on the TV and I was like "Who the hell is that? That sounds way too good for a commercial". I then find out it was from the movie so I rewound it to listen again and it only increased my hopes even more for this movie.

Nobody remembers that when Miley Cyrus out flanked her in the "crazy" department (miley's was real, Gaga's was fabricated), Lady Gaga put on an evening dress, started singing standards with Tony Bennett, and put her full natural abilities on display.
I think she has a lot more to do. I'm sure she will be an EGOT winner. She has the Grammy, and will more than likely get an Oscar this year (for song if anything, maybe acting). It's not a stretch to see her getting an Emmy and a Tony at some point.
