Chargers select Connor Williams, T, Texas
The Chargers are thin on the OL, and tackle is listed most often as their greatest position of need.
Williams can hopefully step in at RT in his rookie season, and eventually replace an aging Russell Okung on the left.

Driving back to my office. Will make my pick soon.

mel kiper and i dont like this pick. rivers was the least sacked qb in the nfl last year. 2/top 9 highest $ players are OT. okung under contract thru 2020, barksdale thru 2019.
brandon mebane the dt is ufa after this year. 33 yr old. liuget suspended first four games. interior dl is the need here. not your fault, i blame theducks for wasting his time on the pelicans board and not making a good selection.

Chargers are not my team, but I have read that they are hoping to find 2 starters on the OL. Was not familiar with the DT situation, but I know their D was much better than expected this year.

Seattle Seahawks select Isaiah Wynn, G, Georgia
At around 6-2 and 300lbs he’s likely going to move inside to guard. Tackle experience at a high level in college will be useful though and he’ll always have the ability to cover at tackle if needed. Seattle must get better in the trenches when it comes to running the ball and protecting Russell Wilson.
IRL what I believe will happen: I believe Seattle will trade the 18th overall pick. That way they will have two picks out of the Top 60. In an ideal world, they’d be able to take one of the top O-linemen plus a running back in the 25-45 range.

at this point i would be screaming for josh jackson the cb from iowa, but davenport UTSA is the ultimate jerry jones pick.
i would 100% expect davenport irl as a long time dallas fan.

Or the T from OU. Any DB help would be a great pick. But we know Stevie Boy is running this thing and will go OL or DB
I’m honestly hoping Brown McGlinchey or the DB is there. But if all are gone take Cortland Sutton.

yea has to be corner of some kind.
you could give aaron rodgers the ball with :14 seconds left and he would still put together a nine play drive to beat dallas.

With the 19th pick in the 2018 MSB NFL draft, the five time Super Bowl champions famously referred to as America's Team, the Dallas Cowboys select
Rahsaan Evans, Linebacker from Alabama
Dallas has major needs at DT, S, TE, and could use another offensive tackle to slide La'El Collins back to guard but with the loss of Anthony Hitchens in free agency and the oft-injured Sean Lee turning 32, the Cowboys have a pressing need at both MLB and OLB.
Evans is a versatile thumper that started games in Alabama's 3-4 defense both inside and outside. At 6'2" 234 lbs, Evans has the size to stop the run and the speed to drop into coverage and rush the passer. With LB Jaylon Smith seemingly 100% after his gruesome injury at Notre Dame, he and Evans could be an outstanding pair of linebackers for the Cowboys to build their defense around going forward.

I mean if he's there at this point....
IRL somebody's going to trade into the top ten and reach for him.

Stevie Boy has sold me on how he’s running the last 2 drafts and he is listening to his Scouting Department.

What the frick? Dallas doesn’t need a LB that early. They need DB, DL, OL.
Safety? That is where Jones will end up after they get the Corner.

only one team would this be an issue anymore. they have done well with round 1, but really missed bad on some of the later picks (randy gregory).
i could live with bama LB guy as sean lee is made of glass, but the biggest issues are:
Opp Completion % 66.37% (#28)
Opp 3D Conv % 42.86% (#29)
Opp Int Thrown % 1.79% (#26)
this cannot continue. in my eyes it is corner or bust.

this is the sec homer fan mock draft

Gregory wasn’t a miss in terms of talent just couldn’t get off the shite. In the past 3 drafts he’s the only really pick to flame out.
Plus the Cowboys have Heath at Safety/Kicker
