Also, Horseshoe here in Bossier just announced today that the WSOP will have a Circuit event there Starting Sept. 8th

Phillips is decent I'd say. He went real deep the year after, 45th. He's cashed another $500k since his FT.

Blakeb0921 (Blake barousse) ftw. Hopefully hes down to like 250k. Was at 495. He's a former state MVP quarterback from lafayette high by the way

Bach got lucky on Vanessa. pushes all in on a draw with a straight draw, hits on the turn. moron to go all in w/o a made hand. BTW, V had a flopped set.

Bach is one of the best all around poker players today. Not a moron by any stretch.

That was a great fold by Barnhart.

Esfandiari is amazing analyzing hands.
Posted on 7/16/11 at 12:00 am to Acreboy
Did he get knocked out early, or did he just not play?
Posted on 7/16/11 at 12:01 am to 9Fiddy
knocked out early. he said "im either out first or deep in the tournament. never inbetween"

he beats nothing. pretty easy fold after the initial flop check raise. snap fold after the 4bet. barnhart could maybe flat the c/r and re-evaluate on the turn but theres not going to be many cards on the turn that are going to make barnhart feel better.
It was simple the case of a bad player trying to "find out where he's at" which is never correct. When he raises to 230k he needs to be doing so for either value or as a bluff. If he's doing it for value then he needs to go with the hand. If he's bluffing he wouldve quickly folded instead of taking 11 minutes. Neither of which he did. Bad players make plays with no plans. Clearly this was the case.

didn't Darcourt open the pot? if so how can you possibly put him on 46? if i'm Barnhart i've got him on a bigger pocket pair or flopped set.
either way you're 100% right.
frick i love poker talk.

Jean Robert's twitter has been the nuts all Series long. No wonder Aria hired him to draw players in there.
