Pretty sure that doesn't matter.
Even if the replay showed he wasn't down and he ran it to the endzone, the play was called dead.
I'll never understand why the refs blow the whistle in that situation. You see it a few times a year when a would be scoop and score is called dead. Just let the guy run to the endzone and review the play if it's a question of whether or not there was a fumble.
