Yes, there was blood and a dead body at the scene of the crime. You got any evidence that a crime was committed in Ben's case?

no he really didn't.

In fact he was never even charged with murder

quote:

MIAMI -- Cleveland Browns wide receiver Donte' Stallworth took full responsibility for killing a pedestrian while driving drunk in Florida and began serving a 30-day jail sentence Tuesday after he pleaded guilty to DUI manslaughter.

quote:

Stallworth faced 15 years in prison. According to the plea agreement, Stallworth needs to serve only 24 days of his 30-day sentence. Murphy agreed to give Stallworth credit for the one day he already served, April 2, which was the day of his arrest and booking. In addition, Stallworth received an additional five days of credit because of a Florida state statute stating anyone who is sentenced to 30 days (besides civil, contempt, drug treatment and house arrest cases) automatically gets five days' credit time served for every 30 days, spokesperson Janelle Hall of the Miami Dade County Corrections Department told Naqi.

After his release from jail, Stallworth must serve two years of house arrest and spend eight years on probation.

if you took the word of every woman who called rape after sex they regretted then 50% of the US males would be in jail. unfortunately, most rapes aren't even reported.

I'm glad you not have any preconceived prejudices about the defendant

all my preconceived prejudices about the defendant stem from his prior behavior and attitude.

I make no apologies for judging someone on their character and actions.

I simply corrected you that Stallworth was never charged with murder.

Not my fault that you took your ignorance personally.

In the eyes of the law Ben was innocent! So what's your problem?

Sorry but he killed someone. The only difference would of been the years he would of spent in prison.

When did I refer to Ben being guilty in the eyes of the law?

It's pretty much fact he is not, just like it is fact that Stallworth was charged with Manslaughter not Murder.

Regardless of guilt or innocence, I can still think both are bad examples and whose actions caused significant PR damage to the NFL, therefor justifying their suspensions.

Why does it upset you that people think Ben did that shite? Should try to not worry about the court of public opinion, you can't change it.
