OSU has played in 9 BCS games, In two of them they have been "blown the frick out". That is 22% of the time.
LSU has played in 5 BCS games. In one of them they have been "blown the frick out". That is 20% of the time.
Couldn't the same argument be made for LSU?

Seems like most of the hate is caused by those who say they associate themselves with Ohio State and didn't actually go to school there.
"Hate" is a pretty strong word too when its over ENTERTAINMENT.

The reasons are soooo many!
1) Their sports fans are most arrogant I've ever experienced. They act like they invented football. Woody was a total jerk.
2) Jim Tressel was the biggest phony ever. A complete scumbag. Followed by CUM.
3) Dr E Gordon Gee a complete clown. King of Political Correctness and then he is pissed when he gets booted for being "insensitive".
4)Worst academics in the Big 10. A glorified community college/ trade school.
5)"The" Ohio State University bull crap.
6) Ugly females, makes the ladies of Texas A&M look like super models.

1-5 are on point, but there have to be mobs of hot chicks at a school that big. Who has the best sluts in the B1G? Used to be MSU by far IMO, but the academics are getting tough and the hot chicks in Michigan are moving to the MAC. I was thinking Indiana or OSU.

Im sure most of you have never been on a college campus if you think Ohio State only has ugly females. Get real, this is America. Every campus in every state will have hot women.
I got to OSU and the sheer size of the university (top 10 in the nation in enrollment) blows that statement out.

Good answer. But it is hard to understand a lot of the hate being an Ohio State fan. I'm sure if the shoe was on the other foot it would be understandable. I have to say that this board though loves to talk about them, and it is mostly started by someone other than a Buckeye fan.

Can someone explain this Urban hate to me? As far as I know he never committed NCAA violations, his players love him, and seems to be very well respected by other coaches.
Is this really going back to the "dream" for Shariff Floyd (that Floyd said wasn't true in the first place)

Well it's obvious why Florida State and Georgia fans (and Tennessee for that matter) hate him so much. I'm not sure why LSU fans do though.

There's a reason why the NFL Hall of a Fame is in Canton, Ohio Einstein. No, the game wasn't invented there but the history of football and the NFL has deep roots in Ohio.

I think many SEC fans lost respect for him when he bolted and left the Florida program in shambles. He's a shady character IMO....Buckeyes beware.

Yes, football has been in Ohio for years but it wasn't invented, first played (college or pro) in the state. OSU played it's first game 21 years after the Rutgers vs Princeton game. In fact 8 Big 10 teams started playing before or at the same time as the Luckeyes.
First college game played Nov 6, 1869; Rutgers vs. Princeton.
Walter Camp, a Yale graduate and considered to be the "Father of American Football" is from CT.
The origin of professional football can be traced back to 1892, with William "Pudge" Heffelfinger's $500 contract to play in a game for the Allegheny Athletic Association against the Pittsburgh Athletic Club. Not even in the state of Ohio.
HOF is in Canton so there is a reason not to demolish the dump.
The level of football arrogance from supporters of that program is amazing, regardless of the facts.
