So…we draw an imaginary line between types of taunting? It seems like the consensus is that some are ok with taunting, even taunting an individual, so long as it is at some defined distance?

There is a very real line between gamesmanship and unsportsmanlike. The governance of competition even reflects this concept. I refer to my penalty point earlier. Horns down is not a penalty. Horns down directed at a player is. Jawing between players isn't going to draw any penalties. Going up to someone and giving them the Triple H "suck it" will. Going back and forth during the game is gamesmanship. A winner taunting the loser directly after a game is over is and has always been viewed as being a poor winner and lacking in class. None of this is new and it feels like you're just being intentionally obtuse for the sake of being difficult.
