I don't see any reason why Tony would bolt for Wisconsin. No offense, I think it's a lateral move at best. Wisky is a great program but assuming we match whatever you pay, I don't see him leaving.

What are the chances they get through their next 4 games undefeated? 20%?

vs. Duke
@ UNC
vs. Louisville
@ NC State

This is more so an indictment on their upcoming schedule and not so much the quality of their team. That's a rough stretch. I don't think Louisville can beat them at UVA, but the other three are tough ones.

My expectation is that we get through that stretch 3-1.

Yeah, both are pretty comparable programs, but who knows how he feels about taking over the program his father once coached in his home state.

If you get through it 4-0, it's looking like 28-0 heading into the last two games of the regular season. Which again, will be two very hard games to get through.

Here's an interesting question...

Let's say both Kentucky (34-0) and Virginia (33-0) enter the NCAA Tournament undefeated. Who would be the #1 overall seed?

Kentucky played a much tougher schedule OOC. However, Virginia would have wins @ Maryland and @ VCU OOC, plus wins vs. Duke, @ North Carolina, @ Notre Dame, @ Miami, @ Syracuse, and two wins over Louisville. Then, likely a win over UNC/Notre Dame in the semifinals of the ACC Tournament semifinal and a win over Duke in the final.

Would be a tough call. Kentucky would still probably get it, though.

Wait so who is good on Kentuckys OOC? UNC and Louisville? UCLA was nice at the time but that team is a shell of their former teams. I suppose Kansas is an okay win

If both run the table, UVA will have beat all the same teams and then some. The sec schedule is just too soft. They would award the #1 because of the bias, perception, and overall nba talent on their roster. Not because of their stronger schedule

Kansas, Texas, UNC, and Louisville is a lot tougher than Maryland and VCU.

But, like you said, UVA will have beaten two of those teams Kentucky beat OOC in their conference play.

I think it SHOULD be Virginia. But it probably would be Kentucky.

Should also throw in Harvard and Davidson as quality OOC wins. Both are tourney teams.

Meh. Harvard isn't as good as they've been in the past. They aren't a shoe-in to win the Ivy League. Just lost to BC, too.

Davidson won't be viewed like beating Texas or Kansas, either.
