NBA has always been about player A vs player B.

Russell v Chamberlain
Magic v Bird
Jordan v Barkley
Jordan v Stockton/Malone

My problem with the NBA right now is the officiating. It makes it hard at times to watch the games. The foul on Dwight when he blocked LBJ's 3 the other night was not only a terrible call, but it fouled him out. If the Magic would have lost, it would have been a shame.

What's the difference? Sports IS entertainment, son.

Exactly, and that's because they haven't had a new crop of officials in years. All these dudes are old as dirt trying to keep up with young uber-athletes.

yep. they need to revamp the entire officiating philosophy in order to account for the size and athleticism of the players now.

I would hate to officiate a game with Lebron because he is so strong and when he puts his head down you could call a foul on him or the defender pretty much every play.

You know, I find it interesting that people are complaining about the NBA when it is quite possible that we can have a final that features two TEAMS that have a superstar on them rather than two superstars that have some dudes playing with them.

Sorry, bruh. The Kobe/Lebron commercials are already airing. It's a done deal. It's ashame that they made it so obvious so early, though.
