CSG is a good option when you don't want to pay for Beckett. Lower end ones like Golden are good for finding out if a cars is worth sending to Beckett. Pay $15 or so to find out if it is a 9. Break it opena and send to Beckett

3PieceSpicy nailed it. If you own a card in an CSG slab, you’re probably aware that it’s value is limited to the raw value of the card. Saw a Burrow base Prizm go for just that last night graded a 9.5 CSG. But what has already been said and is also true is that most in the hobby respect CSG grading to trust that they are most likely buying a gem mint card should they decide to cross it over.

I have 4 in my collection right now which were purchased at raw price or less. Two I plan to crossover to PSA and 2 I will crack out and keep raw. That’s not to say you can’t make a profit off of their slabs, depends on the player. I doubled what I paid on this Burrow after they beat KC in week 17.

And this might be the best looking CSG slab I had for a short period. Perfect card for that green slab.
