Still blows my mind that a soccer board and gaming board exist and still no actual golf board.

Who? What? Where?
I'll be honest, the blow is interesting.

Almost off of it. Got the results back yesterday. It looks like I will live to fight another day. Haven't decided whether this makes me happy or sad.

I've done all the leg work. Golf board ain't gonna happen.
The soccer board was a personal favor for one of the boss man's friends. There is a surplus of nerds in this thread from the gaming board already.

I see. Sounds like a good time.
That friend of mine who's a judge in Tupelo was friends with Eli when they were at OM. We went in his condo in the square after a game one weekend and took some of his pain killers. CSB. He had a lot of them.
We played "Pop that Pussy" with the windows down for about 20 minutes just going around the square.
Oxford knows how to bring the lulz.

Oh, do you go to the gaming board too? Didn't realize. Should have known.

What do they talk about over there. Lines and over/unders or chutes and ladders
Posted on 1/28/14 at 9:15 am to The Stash
Speaking of lines, I love love love Kentucky minus 3 tonight. But I don't gamble. For money, Haha

a real answer from a man who knows Tom Wishon
First off, I would sincerely doubt that the SLDR has an MOI of 3400 g-cm2. Given its size and headweight alone, based on the way the USGA measures MOI for their rule limiting MOI, it has to be over 4500 g-cm2 and probably a little higher than that. So you can't take that post of 3400 g-cm2 seriously based on my experience in head design and testing.
What dictates any driver head's ability to launch lower or higher for the same loft and same vertical roll radius is just how far forward and how far back can the CG be put in the head. Moving CG substantial distances forward or back is difficult. As with all things related to head performance, it takes a BIG change in design elements to result in a little to medium change in ball flight. Even when you design a head from scratch where you have all the chances right from the get go to customize wall thickness, shape and other elements that bring about the CG's final position, if you create a typical 450-460cc volume head of 200g headweight, you really are hard pressed to ever be able to set up the CG with more than a 20mm range from most forward to most back in the head.
Now if you take an existing head and start trying to move existing weight around to alter that forward to back CG, that's impossible to make the CG range by more than 5mm. I have not done this specifically but in all my previous work in design of drivers and CG manipulation, I cannot imagine that if you removed that 20g weight from the channel on the SLDR and then put 20g on the most rear skirt area of the head, that CG just would not move backward by more than 5mm. And that in terms of the effect on forward shaft bending (which is the ONLY way a forward to back CG movement affects performance) that can't be more than a few hundred RPMs in spin difference or a degree to degree and a half in launch angle.

Nerd stuff. What good moves you need to put on the enemy with your controller, how to play tiger woods, dungeons and dragons, supermario kart, gyromite, duck hunt, legend of Zelda, techmo bowl, super techmo bowl, and Atari.
