you can still find the 83 gram uncuts. They may cost $250 on ebay still. If I had to build new woods today I would not have a problem with whiteboard 73 in driver and blueboard 83 in 3 and 5 woods. It still is just as good as anything else out. Tiger has gone to blueboard 103x in D,3,and 5.

So a diesel plant caught on fire here yesterday, and they called an evac for a 5 mile radius. So no work for me today, but it's frickin 30* outside... I need an indoor #smashlab

well first would be what flex? Maybe a light stiff, shaft or a regular flex tipped a bit to make it a reg+. Then I would suggest higher launch. Most men 55+ dont elevate the ball very well, they hit this mid flight knuckleball (from most i have seen). I built your buddy Mac's driver about 5 yrs ago, but today I would build him something different. I am not sure what this 553 love is all about. Fujikura shafts are good but known to feel like shite. I think a great suggestion would be the new released aldila blue atx 65 gram stiff but dont tip trim it any. Another suggestion would be oban kiyoshi purple 55 gram stiff
