He needs to relax and remember he is fresh off returning from an injury and to just make his rounds count. He needs to lay back a little and make the rest of this season count towards being ready for next season.
As a person, he screwed around on his wife. That's his issue to deal with in his head. I don't think he's terrible, it's the first time he hasn't just scared people off the course and been able to impose himself on others mentally.
