Just heard Gemstone up in Franklinton is closing down in November.
Only played there once last year, thought I was going to end up in the back woods of Mississippi somewhere
Doesn't surprise me though. Place was in pretty rough shape back then. Clubhouse was a empty storage building. Hardly any sand in traps, they were mostly weeds and grass.

I think so...
I do like Robs just because I can tell where the ball is going. It's kinda weird hitting indoors. Net, yeah they give you some drills to work on... The setup there is pretty cool, they have practice bays and you can go in there and use all the equipment.
I did light up that bay when we hit drivers. I picked up some ball speed with "turning" through the shot instead of "flipping" my hands at it.

Crazy how now we teach swing shoulders through and finish low and left for a righty and that gives you more yards than being wristy and laggy. I was taught the latter 14 years ago.

I still focus on creating lag. Apparently I'm behind the times.

No one around New Orleans is playing any golf today. It sounds like End of Days outside right now

My swing is so technical right now. I had a bad day a few rounds ago and my mind is racing 200mph everytime I stand over the ball. I'm thinking 30 different things.
Hell yesterday I was so worried about where my eyes were during my swing I had to stop an tell my self wtf are you thinking.
