I thought you hit 3W on #9, the anti-Nitro little bitch of a par 5 hole that I fricking hate.

Yeah, I mean it was tee'd up. That's a drive off 9 to me.

2 I had a flip 60 deg into the green
3 was a 54 from 110 yds
There were other bone crushing mind numbing drives, I'm just talking about the skill off the tee for as tight of a twat that course has.

That hole sucks. No way to get there in two.

I think I actually like Greystone for that reason.
Like somebody used to say, it is a course that forces you to hit certain shots from certain spots. That's ok with me for the regularity with which I play that course. But it does make you control a drive. That's good for me. I hit my driver with the most control when I feel like I've got trees or OB 'making' me hit a certain shot.

1,2,3 are about as tight as they get.

They aren't bad if you can hit a fade.

2 and 3 are fine with a fade

1 flat out sucks no matter what shape you hit

It will be 10 again soon, which may make it even harder considering we usually take 2 off the first tee

Alright, now I know where ya are.

I cut the first angle off, and was in the depression. I hit a 6 out of there to 160.
The approach hit a limb on the way in and dropped 30 yards in front of the green. I got up and down for par there.

ETA: maybe a bogie. I'd had 5 beers at the turn. Don't remember.

The infamous Atchafalaya black bear.

We had a group of old regulars tell us about the black bear running the course over there. Said one of them caught a video on his phone, but that it looked blurry. We all laughed and figured they were just talking about the coons.

I thought one was going to fight me for my florida water on #6. He wasn't backing down. Almost put his lights out with the 913.
