The players seem to love playing for him also, which is refreshing to see.

Pete Carroll says hello here. I think you have to put Pete in the elite category now, especially of he wins the Super Bowl this year. Belichick has been elite for quite some time, fwiw.

Pete Carroll hasn't had to deal with half the adversity that Belicheck has this season. No way the Seahawks get a top seed if they lose players like Sherman, Lynch, Thomas, the way the Pats lost Gronk, Wilfork, and others, while signing guys that were playing Xbox during the season.

I agree with this, but one must also look at the AFC East this year. The Pats are the only team in their division that finished with a winning record. Jets and Dolphins were both 8-8 while the Bills were 6-10.

Seahawks played in arguably the toughest division with the 9ers at 12-4, Cards at 10-6, and the Rams at 7-9.

Id much rather play the toughest division in football with my loaded roster at full strength than play the AFCe with half my major contributor on IR. the Pats beat elite teams this year and never once lost by more than 1 score which is amazing given the circumstances

BB is the better coach and has done the better job this year. Carroll's team is LOADED with talent and is basically injury free compared to the Patriots depleted roster.

BB COTY.
