Gavin Newsom wants to shut down all of next year too.
No high schools are going to open this fall; College will be remote.
If Cali is on lockdown then the Pac 12 wasn't going to play.
Talk about the Big10 all you want but once California pulled out, the Pac 12 was forced to pull out and that snowballed and affected all of CFB.

I find this all absolutely fascinating sociologically - the split of play/don't play is essentially the Mason-Dixon line. The divisions in the country continue to run very deep.
