Ewers looked pretty damn good against Bama. Arch will redshirt and develop while Ewers is there and that’s the way it should be because Arch isn’t going to be ready year 1. I do think Sark is going to be fine in the long run but he’s not off to a hot start. He also didn’t inherit a great roster either. He needs more time but that’s always UT’s problem, they aren’t willing to let a coach rebuild the program and then they just repeat the cycle.

I’m not sure Ewers played so good or Bama had a bad game. From what I watched Bama had a bad game. Ewers did make some great passes though. Keep in mind new qbs can have good games until teams get film, there was no film on Ewers yet.

I also think Sark put everything into this game treating it like a title game soending all summer planning trying to get the marque win. Likely at expense of other games. KSU does that vs OU they give up losses in other games to spend so much time on OU every year.

When Ewers comes back teams will have some film on him.
